I use this Lebanese Spice mix a lot when making Lebanese and other Arabic food but you don’t need to limit it to just that. You can also use it just like any other spice mix and use it to marinate meat and fish etc.
This recipe in particular was given to me by the mother of one of my Lebanese friends. I’ve seen on some other blogs where they say that fenugreek is a no-no but as with most recipes, there is never one universally accepted version.
You can either buy spices in powder form or if you prefer you can freshly grind them yourself.
1 Mix equal parts of each spice except for the allspice which should be doubled. Combine well. You can make as much or as little as you like.
2 Store in an airtight container and store along with your other spices.
